Supersaver of the week: Mr Ernest Simiyu and Mr Fred Karanja from Kileleshwa Boda
Another great week at Wakandi as we enable boda boda riders to boost their savings with technology. This week, we welcomed not one but two supersavers of the week - Mr Ernest Simiyu and Mr Fred Karanja from Kileleshwa Boda.
Kileleshwa Boda has been amongst the top savers in Kenya utilising CAMS to help their members contribute digitally. To praise their efforts, we invited both the winners as well as other members of the group to award them with Wakandi merchandise.
During the event, our sales team was able to gain feedback from the winners. We were thrilled to know how CAMS has been transforming their way of managing daily contributions and loans.
They say that CAMS has simplified and sped up the process of applying for loans. Loan applications are now at a click of a button away on their mobile phones. They were quite happy with the savings feature of CAMS as everything is right at their fingertips and the balance can be retrieved anytime, anywhere. They don’t need to travel to the admins or stand in the queue anymore to get their account balance.
CAMS has also brought the required transparency and accountability into the system. Admins can track transactions and balances in the system which has significantly reduced the chances of errors and disputes in maintaining records.
At Wakandi, we strive to improve how boda boda groups manage their finances. CAMS is the gateway for the groups to handle contributions, loans, and shares for their members with more speed, security, and ease. If you are looking to adopt CAMS to digitize your boda boda group, click on the button below for a demo and our sales team will reach out.
We continue to praise and celebrate our supersavers every week, to inspire every user to save more and help us build a more inclusive financial society.
