Supersaver of the week: Mr Eric Alumera, Mr David Musera, Mr Christopher Asievela from Kibra Jiwekee and Mr Patrick Mauti from Redhill Riders
We are pleased to see the enthusiastic participation of group members in saving through CAMS. It keeps the team on their toes to keep improving the system and make user experience better. This week, we awarded Mr Eric Alumera, Mr David Musera, and Mr Christopher Asievela from Kibra Jiwekee and Mr Patrick Mauti from Redhill Riders as supersavers of the week.
They have been dedicated to saving through CAMS digitally and inspiring other members of their groups. To appreciate their remarkable efforts, our team awarded Wakandi T-shirts to the winners.
Mr Eric Alumera, Chairman of Kibra Jiwekee, has been in the driving seat in adopting digitization for his group. He has been using the system actively to deposit his contribution cutting the need for travelling and paper-based entries.
Talking about Mr Mauti, he has been an avid user of CAMS when depositing contributions. Mr Mauti is the leader of his stage (smaller geographical groups in a boda boda SACCO) whose savings are always on top, week after week. He is leading by example as his stage members are also top savers. He was awarded by Mr Victor Lukiri, Secretary at Redhill Riders as a sign of appreciation from his group.
CAMS, as a digital system, enables boda boda riders to deposit their daily earnings on the go without needing to be physically available – be it through mobile wallets or USSD. They don’t need to meet daily to collect their earning or keep physical records manually. With CAMS, boda boda groups can reduce the chances of manual errors and track transactions accurately. This record is also searchable by admins and accountants and updated as needed.

We congratulate all the winners and appreciate them for their remarkable efforts. We will continue encouraging more boda boda riders to save more and move on the path of digitization.
