Wakandi Tanzania is seeking an exceptional Senior Key Account Manager (SKAM) to lead and expand our customer portfolio in Tanzania. This position plays a key role in delivering innovative digital solutions that empower SACCOs, MFIs, and financial institutions across the country.  It’s a highly strategic and cross-functional position, ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-growing fintech innovator delivering digital solutions that transform how financial cooperatives and institutions manage their operations.

Role overview

As the Senior Key Account Manager, you will drive revenue growth by identifying business opportunities, nurturing strategic customer relationships, and expanding market presence. You will work directly with customers and partners, ensuring a world-class customer experience while promoting Wakandi Tanzania Ltd.’s innovative digital solutions designed for financial institutions and cooperatives.

You will play a crucial role in representing the company externally, showcasing product expertise, and actively contributing to our digitalisation and automation initiatives.

Key responsibilities

  • Own and deliver on defined sales activities and targets.
  • Build and maintain a strong pipeline of business opportunities.
  • Proactively engage customers to ensure exceptional service levels.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to support customer success.
  • Stay informed with relevant market intelligence.
  • Negotiate business opportunities in the company’s best interests.
  • Fully utilise and maintain internal systems such as CRM.
  • Represent the company with integrity, professionalism, and commitment to building a strong organisational culture.

Who You Are

  • 3–5 years’ experience in Key Account Management, Business Development, or Enterprise Sales.
  • Proven track record in selling technology solutions (digital platforms, software, fintech).
  • Experience engaging SACCOs and/or MFIs in Tanzania is a strong advantage.
  • Excellent communication skills in English and Kiswahili.
  • Strong presentation and public speaking
  • IT-literate and eager to grow technical knowledge.
  • Strong organisational and time-management abilities.
